Two schools in Copenhagen want to lower their drop out %, so they arranged a seminar for all leaders from both schools. THe purpose of the seminar was to share experience on initiatives and get new inspiration. Together with Toke Møller from Inter Change I facilitated and recorded 2 days of idea development and action planning, which hopefully can help both schools to raise the % of students who finish their educations.

Future Perfect festival took place for the first time last weekend (28th-31st of July 2011). The festival was a combination of seminars, workshops and conversations about sustainability combined with a fantastic music program. Experts, musicians, facilitators and participants were hanging out at the beautiful site of Ängsbacka for 4 days together with plenty of time to connect, talk and get inspired from each other. And I can’t think of a better place to start create a perfect future from.
My contribution to the festival was a 2 hour workshop on graphic facilitation – thanks to all of you who participated and showed interest.

Heart Capital support social businesses, by opening the door to social entreprenuers who is has a good idea and wants to be part of their incubator. Here they get help and advice on how to grow from having a good to create a social business.

After talking to some of the guys working on a Youth development Center (YDC) in Langa (a Town Ship 15 min. from Cape Town) we figured that it would be a good idea to map out the project. The project owners wanted to become sharper on the framework so they could communicate clear with the community and get more people involved.
Mahlubi and Ziggy are two of the passionate guys holding the dream of creating change in their community. They organized a workshop, with the purpose of mapping out YDC Langa. I supported the process by facilitating and illustrating.
The result of the first phase is a sketch of the full project and a generic template which can be used for some of the initiatives already taking place in Langa under YDC.
