Invitation til kursus for lærere og skoleledere i Aalborg Kommune d 16. + 17. april 2012.

DENMARK

Students in 8th grade at Ingrid Jespersens Gymnasieskole in Copenhagen worked for 2 days with product design and marketing strategies for Aarstiderne. Their task was to create a product appealing to youth in line with the values of Aarstiderne.

The workshop is part of a program, where the students are practicing to become more aware of their competencies. In relation to that a part of the workshop were focused on team work reflection and giving each other positive feedback.

The students produced small presentation videos for Aarstiderne, they can be watched here.

One day of graphic facilitation training in HUB Helsinki for HUB members, consultants and students.

DENMARK

The organisation for danish water supply DANVA is developing a process of how to document risk operations with in the water supply chain. DANVA wanted to communicate the process visually and invited me to do a workshop with them. The participants came from different departments of DANVA. Everybody contributed with their knowledge and experience.  The result of the workshop is 3 posters which were co-created by the participants.

DENMARK

Åbybro Skole is a public school in northern Denmark. This year they have chosen to focus on creativity. In relation to that all the teachers from the middle school participated in a training about social entrepreneurship. The training had following elements in focus:

CLARIFICATION OF NEED, IDEA DEVELOPMENT, TEAM WORK and PRODUCT/SERVICE DESIGN.

Through execises, presentations, dialogues and reflection the teachers explored the field of social entrepreneurship and how it can be integrated in the public shcool.

How do you find a sustainable solution to a need when the resources are limited?

The teacher experienced the value of having a shared picture of the need before starting developing ideas – this can be a long and frustrating process.

When the frames are clear it is time to develop new ideas and make prototypes.


SWEDEN

All the students at team 4 at YIP (Youth Initiative Program i Järna) had monday and tuesday a 1 hour teaser about graphic facilitation. 25 of the students decided to explore the field further wednesday and thursday.

We have been working with making presentations of their 6 weeks so far and they are creating great posters. The course is also about how graphic facilitation can support you in being a good leader, there for the students have explored different templates and questions for dynamic project work and personal reflection.

Tomorrow (friday) they have to present for the rest of the team and explain them what they have learned about graphic facilitation.
